Salary: £26,000 per annum + weekly food allowance

Role overview 

We operate a busy studio based in Shoreditch, London and our running team of three play a pivotal role in the success of the business. A runner at TBA has responsibilities spanning across client services, facilities and front of house and is integral to ensuring the smooth running and completion of daily tasks. This role gives fantastic access to the industry as runners get the opportunity to build strong relationships with employees and clients. We look to provide training and career development, so the ideal candidate would be interested in a future within the VFX industry. This role is based in our studio, 5 days a week and operates on a shift pattern. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

● Ensuring the office is clean and tidy at all times by circulating the space and regularly checking suites 

● Depending on shift pattern, being responsible for opening, locking and alarming the studio. 

● Restocking supplies throughout the studio, informing the facilities manager when anything is running low. 

● Providing first class client service at all times. 

● Making teas and coffees for clients and visitors (we provide thorough coffee training!) 

● Supporting other departments as required 

● Ordering and collecting office sundries 

● Monitoring reception; answering and directing phone calls to the relevant contact 

● Answering the door to meet clients and accept deliveries 

● Collecting & sending post 

● Supporting the facilities manager with organising internal and external events 

● Reporting any issues with the building to facilities manager 

● Ordering and collecting food for staff and clients 

Ways to ensure advancement 

● Build relationships throughout the business and specific to your department of interest 

● Demonstrate your ambition by seeking regular training opportunities. 

● Have a can-do attitude, be proactive and show initiative 

● Develop a knowledge of the business to understand project pipelines & workflow 

● Manage and prioritise your time to complete your work and take advantage of training responsibilities 

The ideal candidate would have: 

● Experience in a client facing role 

● Interpersonal skills 

● Ambition and a desire to learn 

● Great work ethic 

● An interest in the creative industry, especially VFX
