Runner

We are looking for a runner to join The Assembly Rooms, one of London’s leading offline editing companies with a roster of award winning editors. We cut commercials, promos, short films, features, and documentaries.

This is a client facing, hands on role, supporting the daily operations of a busy post production office.

You’ll be responsible for multiple edit suites and communal areas, and be key in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the smooth day to day running of the office.
• Greet clients warmly, creating a strong first impression and building rapport.
• Set up and clear down suites and meeting rooms; refresh waters and keep clients accommodated throughout the day.
• Prepare and serve in house drinks (tea/coffee/soft drinks) and collect barista made drinks when required.
• Order and deliver client/editor lunches punctually.
• Keep the office clean, presentable, and well stocked (including maintaining kitchens, emptying bins, and managing recycling).
• Handle general errands and deliveries.
• Support reception when needed: answer calls and transfer appropriately.
• Manage stock levels and weekly food shop.
• Water plants and support basic maintenance/DIY tasks.
• Manage the company social media and website, ensuring content is current and accurate.

What We’re Looking For

• A keen interest in editing and post-production.
• A creative eye and production awareness.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
• Quick thinking and able to thrive under pressure.
• Personable, friendly, and client focused.
• Competent with Macs, Google Docs, Slides & Sheets.
• Familiarity with Adobe programs is a plus, but not required.
