The Assembly Rooms is one of London’s leading offline editing companies with a roster of award winning editors. We cut commercials, promos, short films, features, and documentaries.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a driven and dedicated Producer/Office Manager to join our team, with at least 1-2 years experience in a production role. As well as possessing impeccable organisational and communications skills, you should be creatively driven and comfortable in a client-facing role.

The ideal candidate would also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of post-production workflows. As a small company, we are looking for a team player, who is an excellent multitasker and
comfortable balancing producing with various front of house & office manager responsibilities.

The position will offer a great deal of creative industry exposure and there is plenty of scope for the role to be moulded to suit individual interests and talents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating editors’ diaries and schedules.
  • Managing new projects from initial enquiry through to completion, including reviewing treatments and pitching suitable editors for commercial and promotional content across a wide range of high-profile clients.
  • Tracking project costs and overseeing the accurate and timely invoicing of jobs.
  • Preparing and negotiating project quotes, costs and schedules.
  • Supporting the team with PR, social media and wider promotional activity.
  • Managing and maintaining the office in line with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Assisting with the organisation of staff events.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and industry contacts, finding new business opportunities and attending industry events to grow and strengthen those connections.
  • Managing the in-house runner, overseeing their daily tasks and providing ongoing support and guidance in their day-to-day role.
