Taking on the name of a pioneering film studio established on the south coast 100 years ago, The Progress Film Company was founded in 2010 by filmmakers Matt Hopkins & Ben Lankester. Whether in the commercial or independent space, our mission is to tell powerful stories. Stories that matter.

 

Progress X (the Directors) – with decades of commercial experience, our international roster of award-winning directors create culturally significant storytelling through drama and documentary.

 

Progress S (the Studio) – our full service production studio with a dedicated team of creatives, filmmakers and animators producing campaigns, branded and social content for clients worldwide.
