New–land is a Scandinavian production company based in London, Stockholm and Copenhagen. We represent a diverse roster of directors and photographers, working across commercials, music videos, branded content, documentaries and film.
From drama to comedy, epic narratives to playful mixed media shorts, at the heart of our work is cinematic storytelling and craft, finding the human connection that allows us to create authentic, emotionally engaging and impactful work that resonates with our audience.
Founded in 2014 by director Gustav Johansson, we have since worked with global brands including Volvo, Coca-Cola, adidas, IKEA, Nike, Netflix, HBO, and Virgin Media. Our work has been awarded at every level, from Cannes Lions to Ciclope to D&AD. Most recently we were awarded Eurobest Production Company of the Year for 2020.
We are experienced and flexible at working in different ways with our clients, and our production approach varies from project to project. From developing and concepting ideas at a very early stage, to executing an existing brief, we are keen to innovate and collaborate with artists to develop creative and ground-breaking work.
