RUNNER
Little Things is an award winning independent post production sound studio that specialises in creative sound design for brands.
We are looking for a Runner to join our small company of seven.
We are an employee-owned company, which means every member of the team has a genuine stake in the success of the business. Because of this, we are looking for someone bold, creative and full of energy. A fresh thinker who is eager to learn, contribute and make a real impression within a small team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain knowledge and experience across all departments of an audio post production studio and take their first steps in the world of sound design.
As Runner you will instantly become a key member of the Little Things team. You will work closely with our studio engineers, production team and clients, helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the studio.
The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of sound design within advertising and marketing. They will have excellent communication skills and be an approachable point of contact for both clients and colleagues. It is important to have plenty of enthusiasm and be a quick thinker. The ability to juggle multiple tasks is essential. Previous runner (in studio / on-set) or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide a 5 star hospitality service for our clients within the studio.
- To set up the studios for the day’s sessions and ensure the studios and open plan areas are clean, tidy and well presented at all times.
- Ensure refreshments, stationery and essential items are well stocked throughout the day.
- Keep track of stocks and supplies, placing orders when necessary.
- Make external runs around Soho.
- Handle petty cash, reconciling monthly.
- Assist the production team with pre session duties including printing scripts and preparing files.
