Production Manager

THE ROLE

TEEPEE FILMS is looking for a rigorous and eager-to-learn production manager to join its evolving London team. This role is a great opportunity for someone to further hone their skills in all aspects of commercial production and get invaluable experience and insight into the industry through the projects we produce and directors we work with.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for film and culture and has the drive to create excellent work in a commercial context, as well as attention to detail to ensure everything is done to the best standards. They will work closely with the Executive Producer (EP) in a fast-paced and exciting environment  assisting spearheading all productions that come through, managing clients as one of the faces of the company, budgeting up opportunities alongside the EP, creating schedules, call sheets and other essential elements of production.

TEEPEE FILMS is a small, but mighty, production company so this is the perfect opportunity for someone who is willing to grow with the company, champion the brand, and mould the role around their career aspirations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– To help manage and ensure the smooth running of all productions that come through TEEPEE FILMS, alongside the EP, as well as the smooth running of the office

– Working alongside the EP to manage scheduling for all productions

– Depending on pipeline and size of the project, you will be expected to assist leading on productions that come through, to give you as much experience as possible

– To assist in pitching for and scoping out new projects

CLIENT FACING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 – Time keeping skills are essential, as you will be required to juggle multiple projects at once

– Clear communication is paramount so that everything is covered for all projects, including ad hoc queries from clients

– Logging & processing of all invoices for projects

– Source, book & manage crew for each project

– Manage international and local production travel logistics and bookings

DEVELOPMENT

– To keep an eye out for new & emerging talent to bring into TEEPEE FILMS to help progress the company

Attend APA and industry events & evenings to help keep up to date with the latest trends , help continue to grow a presence in the industry and help cultivate new business leads through networking in the industry

HELP TEEPEE GROW 

– A flexible approach on how to improve processes at TEEPEE FILMS, both in relation to efficiency and employee experience

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

– Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills

– Experience with production budgets & schedules

– Experience working to varying budget levels for live action shoots

– Attention to detail

– Resourcefulness and problem-solving

– A team player with great communication skills

– Good sense of ownership and responsibility

– Enthusiasm to learn production processes & industry standards

– Proven commitment to a career in film and television production

– Positive and professional manner and approach

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE BENEFICIAL

– Experience working to varying budget levels for post-production projects

– Knowledge of the adobe creative cloud apps

– Clean driving license

– Google mail proficient

SALARY 

– £25-30k (based on experience – (with annual performance based reviews)
