JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Producer will work across Chrome’s existing and prospective client portfolio with a primary focus on the UK and European market. This role will serve as a day-to-day contact for UK-based clients and will occasionally support US-based clients and projects. The Producer will lead scoping and budgeting of potential projects and confidently communicate these scopes to current and prospective clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to adapt by switching gears quickly and nimbly whilst keeping the end goals of multiple projects clearly in sight. This role requires a strong network of connections in the industry, and the Producer will be expected to maintain and continuously develop that network. This person should be comfortable working in a startup environment with a small local team where there is an expectation and obligation to contribute whatever necessary.

 

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent / full-time

SALARY: Commensurate with experience

LOCATION: Kentish Town; this role requires international travel

REPORTING TO: Global Head of Production

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring our work is of the highest quality and adheres to Chrome’s core values
  • Receiving and responding to client briefs in a creative and considerate way, factoring in everything from client’s tone of voice to budget
  • Leading the scoping and budgeting of prospective projects with support from the global team
  • Meticulously managing the project scope and negotiating client discussions relating to changing circumstances all whilst maintaining close communication with the Global Head of Production
  • Resourcing and managing shoots from pre-production to post (e.g., booking crew, gear, locations, etc.)
  • Skilfully communicating both internally and with the client throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Managing timelines and deadlines of active projects while coordinating the global team on resource bandwidth
  • Serving as a point of contact primarily for UK-based clients
  • Liaising with Post Production team to feedback on edits and pre-empt client notes
  • Managing all wrap and reconciliation paperwork for projects
  • Managing and recruiting crew and talent that are on par with Chrome’s high standards
  • Developing and maintaining a strong network of connections in the industry
  • Understanding and having an ability to produce and integrate stills capture and delivery into our core video offering
  • Inspiring, supporting, and mentoring the more junior members of the team
  • Consistently keeping up to date with industry trends and identifying new ways to keep Chrome’s content fresh and engaging
  • Contributing to regular brainstorming sessions with Creative, Production, Post Production, and Leadership teams on projects in both the US and UK
  • Collaborating with team members to come up with creative solutions to production challenges and client briefs
  • Meeting a pre-agreed social or environmental goal as discussed with your manager

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Significant knowledge of TV production, digital advertising, and live broadcasting across all project stages (from responding to briefs, to writing budgets and schedules, and creating content)
  • Keen understanding of the production lifecycle
  • Understanding of video file and delivery specs
  • Experience managing international shoots
  • Expertise working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills; ability to prioritise work effectively and efficiently whilst managing multiple deadlines at once
  • Superior communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Confidence in and enthusiastic approach to liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Excellent interpersonal, people management and team leadership skills
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to think outside and troubleshoot the box when facing challenges
  • Strong team mentality with an ability to collaborate both in-person and remotely
  • Utmost discretion, transparency, and accountability with regards to confidential information
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work and an ability to pivot when circumstances change
  • Is a ‘people person’ who thrives in a dynamic and creative environment with a genuine love for film, TV, and all visual mediums that can be tools for storytelling
