Post Producer
OKAY STUDIO is a post production house based in Dalston, London. With a range of award winning creatives we offer edit, colour grading, VFX and finishing. We have a diverse client list including Louis Vuitton, Nike, Beats by Dre, Adidas, Audi, Juergen Teller, AMV BBDO, CANADA, Boiler Room, CLM, Droga5, Builders Club, Prettybird & Dazed.
We are looking for a mid-weight to senior post producer to join our fast growing team in East London in a permanent role. Along with the duties and responsibilities listed below, we also see this as a creative role, and the successful applicant will be joining a tight knit team.
We’d love to work with someone who
- Has a minimum of 5 years experience in the advertising / fashion / post production industry
- Has a firm grip on budgeting and scheduling projects – experience using Farmers Wife is a plus
- Has a solid understanding of offline / colour grade & VFX workflows
- Has excellent organisational skills
- Has proven contacts in the advertising production & post production world
- Is confident talking to creatives, technicians and clients alike
- Is comfortable under pressure and doesn’t shy away from multitasking
- Is a proactive problem solver
- Has a passion for film, advertising and fashion
- Wants to develop further in a small team
- Is happy to attend industry events to socialise with industry peers and potential new clients
Duties and responsibilities include
- Running of bookings systems and post produce projects in coordination with other staff
- Managing multiple projects at once
- Accompany projects from end to end, from offline edit, colour grade, online/VFX through to delivery/completion
- Ensure smooth and optimum use of production resources
- Raise quotes, negotiate budgets and manage schedules
- Log costs, spend and profit for individual projects
- Manage client relationships after jobs deliver to encourage repeat business
- Actively improve the services offered through ameliorating systems and analytics
- Actively pursuing new business leads
- Assisting with development & training of junior staff
