Job Overview:
Avenues is searching for a post-producer to bolster our post-production team and manage a broad portfolio of ambitious projects. This role demands a candidate with solid post-production experience, leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding results on time and within budget. The Post Producer will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our post-production department, driving operational excellence, and fostering client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex post-production projects, from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring they meet creative and technical standards.
- Develop and implement post-production strategies and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their visions are realised to the highest standards.
- Negotiate and manage budgets for high-value projects, optimising resources without compromising quality.
- Mentor and develop talent within the post-production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and post-production technology advancements, incorporating these into Avenues’ offerings where beneficial.
- Contribute to business development efforts, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within the post-production domain.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in post-production
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, high-budget post-production projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of post-production workflows, including editing, animation, VFX, colour grading, and sound design.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects through challenges and tight deadlines.
- Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budget management and cost optimisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client and team relationships.
The salary for the Post Producer position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Based on industry standards and the seniority of the role, a salary range of £35,000 – £45,000 per annum can be anticipated. Additionally, the compensatio package will include benefits such as performance bonuses, professional development opportunities, and flexible working arrangements. We will consider more senior candidates.
