We’re a small, ambitious team making beautifully crafted commercial work. Darling has an exciting roster of directors, ranging from emerging creative talent to internationally recognised and established directors.
The Role
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years experience as a Production Manager who has strong organisational skills and an eye for detail. The role also calls for administrative support to the wider team including assisting with updating social channels & website, editing showreels & updating new work plus preparing documents when required through the pitch and pre-production stages. In addition, you will have experience of the following:
- Strong commercial budgeting skills on projects of all sizes
- Ability to manage productions from pitch, award, through to final reconciliation
- Scheduling production timelines from pitch to delivery
- Negotiating with crew, suppliers and locations to achieve the best creative value
- Working across multiple jobs simultaneously while keeping budgets and timelines on track
- Timely reconciliation of budgets plus able to wrap projects efficiently
- Building and maintaining strong relationships across the freelance network and supplier base
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the APA terms, PIBs, Contracts and current industry practices
