The APA has been a supporter of Straight 8 for many years.
Straight 8 Shootout is their competition where young film makers compete, along with the support of their companies, in making a 2.5 min short film. These films are premiered and seen for the first time in Cannes!
EACH FILM IS MADE ON JUST ONE ROLL OF SUPER 8 – NO EDITING – NO POST-PRODUCTION – FINGERS CROSSED THE SOUND SYNCH’S UP!
This year, you will see entries from APA member’s like Odelay Films and Mad Cow Films, and agencies such as VCCP and DROGA5 Ireland.
