Production Runner

Academy Films are looking for an in-house production runner.

Ideal for anyone looking for a chance to learn and be part of the large production process.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: 

·  Making sure meeting rooms and communal areas for staff remain well stocked and presentable at all times of the day.

·  Treatment image research for pitches.

·  Runs for office & production needs.

·  Attending Academy shoots as a production runner.

·  Filming castings in the office casting suite.

·  Cutdowns (editing) of casting tapes.

·  Managing website content.

·  Logging and organising drives.

·  Opening the office in the morning and closing in the evening, keeping an eye on the office as the day progresses.

·  reception duties when necessary.

Ideal Candidates: 

·  Will have an interest and passion for filmmaking & production.

·  Personable and friendly manner.

·  Driven and motivated, proactive in their work load.

·  Higher educational or industry experience and/or evidenced interest in media.

·  Basic understanding of cameras.

·  Ability to work well under pressure, and good time management.

·  Good communication skills.

·  Experience/ Knowledge of Microsoft word, Dropbox & Google drive

·  A proficient understanding of Adobe suite, Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign & Photoshop desirable.

·  Full driving licence and car preferred.

·  The successful candidate will be passionate to grow within the company and be a part of a lively & sociable team.

08:45 – 17:45
10:00 – 19:00

Location: New Oxford Street

Salary: £26,000
