Mid-Weight Offline Producer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate mid-weight offline producer to join our busy London office and help support our growing roster of editors. Working closely with the Executive Producer, you will help to manage the day to day needs of projects, including coordinating editors’ daily workflows and delegating tasks to support staff.
You must have excellent communication skills, good judgement and the ability to work effectively with employees and clients at all levels. The job requires strong organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position at our office in Fitzrovia, London.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing quotes, negotiating terms and budgeting for projects
• Managing editors’ and assistants’ diaries
• Communicating with clients in a knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming manner
• Working alongside producers at The Post Arm to ensure the smooth running of projects from offline through to grade, online and delivery
• Actualising and billing jobs
• Familiarisation with editor’s body of work and director relationships
• Building and nurturing strong client relationships
• Attending industry events as required
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an offline or post producer
• Working knowledge of scheduling software such as Ceta, Farmer’s Wife, ActualizeIt, or similar
• Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
• Able to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with ease
• Personable, confident, and approachable
• Enjoys working as part of a team with the initiative to work independently
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage situations with tact and sensitivity
