Production Assistant
The Role
TEEPEE FILMS is looking for a keen-to-learn production assistant to join its evolving London team. This role is a great opportunity for someone to further develop their skills in all aspects of commercial production and get invaluable experience and insight into the industry through the projects we produce and directors we work with.
As an essential member of the TEEPEE production team, the Production Assistant will be expected to support the smooth running of all elements of production and post-production, ensure all tasks are completed on time, and maintain our high creative standards. You will be assisting the Producer and Executive Producer to ensure that all our client’s needs are fully met and that all projects stay within budget, comply with legal requirements, and fulfill contractual obligations.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for film and culture and has the drive to create excellent work in a commercial context, as well as attention to detail to ensure everything is done to the best standards. They will work closely with the Producer & EP in a fast-paced and exciting environment – assisting spearheading all productions that come through, handling client queries as one of the faces of the company, learning to budget up opportunities alongside the producer, creating schedules, call sheets and coordinating elements of production (such as booking crew, kit and catering).

Key Responsibilities
-To help assist and ensure the smooth running of all productions that come through TEEPEE FILMS, alongside the Producer & EP, as well as the smooth running of the office
– Working alongside the Producer to assist scheduling for all productions
– Source, book & manage crew for each project
– Help coordinate international and local production travel logistics and bookings
– Ensure that all legal, H&S, AdGreen and COVID responsibilities have been clearly outlined and managed with the client, partners and freelancers involved
– To find opportunities to bring in less represented demographics to boost inclusivity in the industry
– As shoots will occasionally happen over the weekend, you will be expected to attend these shoots where possible
– To assist in pitching for and scoping out new projects
Client Facing & Project Management
-You will working with our clients on a daily basis and so will be required to ensure they are well looked after and ensure everything is provided to them in a timely manner
-Time keeping skills are essential, as you will be required to juggle multiple projects at once
– Clear communication is paramount so that everything is covered for all projects, including ad hoc queries from clients
– Logging & processing of all invoices for projects
Development
– As well as working on commercial based projects, you will have opportunities to work closely with directors in helping develop & assisting on production elements for their short film scripts
– To keep an eye out for new & emerging talent to bring into TEEPEE FILMS to help progress the company
– Attend APA and industry events & evenings to help keep up to date with the latest trends, help continue to grow a presence in the industry and help cultivate new business leads through networking in the industry
