Sound Designer / Audio Engineer (Post Production)
- Full time, on-site position at our studio in East London
- Minimum of 5-7+ years within the industry. At least 3 of those years should include experience mixing/sound-designing/voice recording in both surround and stereo at an audio post facility with a focus in advertising.
The role:
- To act as primary audio point person, liaising with post producers, editors and directors about their audio needs.
- Create, update, maintain and add to sound libraries
- Develop sound concepts for a project from a script, storyboard or treatments
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving know-how, keeping up to date with the latest developments within audio.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in audio software such as ProTools (or similar)
- Understanding of audio specification requirements for both online and broadcast and the capability to mix in a variety of formats
- Good time-management and organisational skills for meeting delivery specifications and deadlines
- Must be well versed in working with directors/clients/talent and leading attended sessions
- Ability to work independently taking ownership of aspects of audio as well as work as a team collaborating with other professionals including composers, editors, producers and directors
- Abilities in a range of post-production skills, including editing and mastering
- Video editing skills within Premiere Pro
- Having experience or interested in creating your own music compositions is a bonus
