We are ELMNTL. An independent creative studio based in Shoreditch, offering visual and audio post production. We make stuff look cool, whether it be in edit, colour grading, 2D, CGI, motion graphics or sound.

The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior VFX Producer to join us and lead and manage projects from initial pitch stage all the way through to a seamless final delivery. We are looking for someone who not only can ensure the project delivers to the highest quality creatively, on time and within budget, but who is also looking to add value and give it their all at every opportunity (and have a blast whilst doing it).

Project Management
Every producer has their own style when it comes to running a job and we are looking to encourage and champion this but we’re also looking for someone who is willing to get involved and share their knowledge and expertise across the wider team, especially when it comes to junior members. We want everyone at ELMNTL to exist in a space of growth and development, so we welcome the challenges and the curveballs!

We are big on communication internally and externally and we put this at the centre of everything, it sounds simple enough but it really does make all the difference when everyone feels a sense of clarity and alignment. This thread runs through managing resource and scheduling, budgeting, technical shooting aspects as well as very involved delivery specifications. It’s all about being organised and prepared so everyone feels confident.

General
Everyone at ELMNTL values our position as a trusted partner to our clients. They really are our friends and family and this is a very client facing role, so we’re looking for someone who has nailed the fine balance between efficiency but also appreciates the challenges of production and goes above and beyond to own the post production element to remove this concern from anyone else. Every situation should be approached on an individual basis and considered bespoke to that project’s needs.

Ideally, our new producer would be established and have at least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role and a thorough knowledge and understanding of the advertising industry but more importantly the post production pipeline and workflow.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

• Multi-tasking and the day-to-day running of several projects from pitch through to delivery.
• Organisational elements such as detailed budgeting, scheduling & delivery.
• Establishing solid and trusted relationships with clients and supportive partners.
• Reconciling projects and managing client expectations continuously via high levels of communication.
• Responsible for clear and concise communication with regards to briefing in work, discussing with the artists and thoroughly checking that the brief has been met to the highest quality.
• Thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline from edit, grade, online & QC/delivery including 2D, CG, motion graphics & audio.
• Mentoring and nurturing junior members of staff.
• The hunger to always be better, for projects and clients, for your colleagues and for yourself.
• A wild curiosity about our industry and interest in the latest technology and approaches.
