Role Summary

Dimension are looking for a ‘Production Supervisor’ to come in and lead the production team to deliver industry leading digital humans. You will be overseeing pioneering work for some of the world’s most respected brands and entertainment studios, creating characters that span mixed reality performances, immersive experiences, metaverse content, and film and TV. This is a truly exciting role where you’ll be supporting, and offering guidance to the current team, which consists of 3 producers, a PC, and a PA, with this role sitting above those, and working directly into the HOP.

As we continue to expand in both headcount and pipelines, you’ll be expected to support the HOP in developing the production processes required to run a character department, enabling the Art Leads and Producers to work effectively, whilst also building the team required to deliver against productions.

Working closely with the Lead Character Artist, you’ll be required to monitor art resource allocation across all live and upcoming productions, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced to deliver on time, and within budget.

You’ll have experience in a Senior Production role within the VFX or Games industry, ideally focusing on the creation of Digital Humans. You’ll need excellent leadership and organisational skills, enabling you to support the Production team throughout the life cycle of a project.

REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

Responsible for guiding the production team through all live projects.

Assisting in the pitch phase for all projects, and ensuring the detail on documentation meets Dimensions high expectations.

Creation of budgets, SOW’s, and contracts.

Oversight on all live character projects.

A thorough understanding of our in-house character pipelines (training on pipeline specifics to be provided).

Scheduling projects and allocation of art resources.

Chairing sprint planning sessions, and sprint reviews, across the department

Hands on Production tasks in the event of cover being required.

Ensure financial reports are maintained and ready to present to the Head Of Production, finance team, board of directors.

Working closely with the Leads and Supervisors to help define and maintain structure within the production team, to include project tracking documentation, lines of report, and team member responsibilities.

Act as a point of escalation for all members of the Character team.

Identify risks within live productions, and take the necessary steps to mitigate them.

Experience / skills

5+ years in a senior production role within the VFX or Gaming industry.

Proven successful team leadership.

On Set Experience preferred but not essential.
