Production Assistant / Office Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Production Assistant to work at BOLD in their new home in East London.

This is NOT an entry-level position.

Key responsibilities/attributes include:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a production company, including shoot experience.
  • Pre-production and organisation of shoots under the Executive Producers, as well as attending on set.
  • Booking production travel and accommodation.
  • Penciling and confirming production personnel and equipment.
  • Working on treatments, including formatting and visual research.
  • Processing/raising invoices, expenses, purchase orders and petty cash for accounts.
  • General management of the office including suppliers.
  • Acting as a personable and efficient first point of contact.
  • Mac proficiency, particular with programmes such as Keynote, Pages/Docs and Excel/Numbers.
  • Passionate about film, advertising and creating great work.
  • The ability to stay focused, upbeat and productive under pressure.

Desirable:

  • Experience of creating callsheets.
  • Proficiency with Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of codecs, compression and Mpeg Streamclip.
