We are a film production company making award winning TV commercials and online digital content. We have a core permanent team and a roster of talented directors both in the UK and internationally and we service our productions globally. We have our head quarters in Soho, London but also have representation in the USA and will be growing our international offices off the back of this success.

We operate across advertising (working with both brands and agencies), narrative film and stills photography.

The role:

We are on the hunt for a Production Assistant/ Junior Production Manager to come join the Odelay team in a full time capacity. This is an ideal role for someone looking to get a real breadth of experience across many elements of production. We offer a supportive environment, plenty of ‘on the job’ training and scope for career development to Production Manager level.

Tasks may include, but not limited to;

  • General office tasks and answering office phone line
  • Meet and greet clients/ visitors to the office
  • Pre-production tasks (location hunting, sourcing rehearsal spaces, booking crew, couriers, generating production documents)
  • Supporting at castings / wardrobe fittings
  • Attending and assisting on set
  • Wrapping up production budgets, expenses and petty cash, collating paperwork and administrative tasks
  • Looking after our directors and supporting the sales team on pitch decks
  • Booking kit and travel etc.
  • Tracking and delivering hard drives to post houses
  • As part of our B corp certification all Departments are reviewed on Social and Environmental performance and we will need this role to support with tracking and monitoring in line with our targets (carbon tracking and offsetting, D&I tracking on shoots, onboarding new suppliers with our company policies etc).

The Ideal Candidate

  • Genuine passion for filmmaking and broad understanding of film production
  • Hardworking yet calm and unflappable
  • Methodical and organized, with good attention to detail
  • Exemplary written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills, presentable and personable, good telephone manner
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Passionate about our strong company ethos; sustainability and equality (Ad Green Training will also be mandated)
  • Nice to haves: Driving license.

Ratesand benefits:

Salary dependent on experience. Entry level salary.

Full time role.

London based but open to hybrid working when suitable
