Production Assistant / Junior Production Manager

Arts & Sciences is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Production Assistant / Junior Production Manager to join our thriving team. Key Responsibilities
Production Management
- Oversee daily production tasks.
- Assist with preparing budgets, managing contracts, creating schedules, drafting call sheets, and conducting risk assessments.
- Coordinate logistics, including crew sourcing, travel arrangements, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Client & Team Collaboration
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Line Producers, maintaining clear communication and upholding high standards.
- Collaborate closely with Executive Producers and Line Producers on creative and commercial projects.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
Development & Growth
- Represent Arts & Sciences at industry events, building relationships and promoting the company.
- Propose and implement ideas to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and foster inclusivity across the team.

Skills & Experience Required
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the production industry.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of post-production workflows, health and safety practices, and industry-standard contracts.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace.
- Completion of the APA Masterclass.
- Experience in production scheduling and budgeting in line with APA standards.
- A valid driving licence is a plus but not essential.
