Stitch is a multi-award winning commercial editing company, working with some of the best directors and production companies in the business.
Homespun is our vibrant music video and shorts wing. We showcase the most creative work from our up and coming talent as well as our established editors.
Yarns is our annual short film competition, where we commission/produce/edit 3-4 short films and screen them at our prestigious Yarns event at Ministry of Sound.
We are looking for a PR/Sales Rep to join our team. This is an exciting and rare opportunity, wearing many hats. The ideal candidate will be a positive people person, who is a creative thinker with initiative, attention to detail and drive. They will have an excellent written and verbal communication manner, interest in the industry and current affairs, solid computer/social media and organisation skills. They will be able to offer new ideas and solutions to this ever-changing market and seek new opportunities. At all times we would require you to maintain and develop company image and identity.
You will be required to create regular PR stories which are a combination of our creative output, industry press and awards/accolades.
Forming new and maintaining existing relationships various industry publications is essential.
We regularly hold events for our clients and staff which you would organise and attend as well as industry events and social networking.
We have 18 Editors, you will be expected to get to know them and their work and actively sell their reels to generate new work and director relationships. Time management is key.
You will be working closely with the production/management team to develop and strategize sales, whilst bringing innovative ideas to the table.
An understanding of the commercials and music video industry is essential alongside monitoring industry trends. Having an existing client base would be valuable.
This will take up a large proportion of your time/year.
Initially organising sponsorship and getting collaborators interested each year.
Being involved with our creative partner at idea conception, informing the various publications and getting the idea out into the mainstream, growing the audience of entrants for the competition. Working closely with the chosen entrants making sure the films are delivered on time. Getting press on each competitor and a story ready in advance of the completion of the competition. Organising and running the actual event.
Finally getting the story out into the various media platforms.
