New Business Manager

We’re looking for a New Business Manager filled with a passion for creative sales to work across our existing Marketing & Development team. The successful applicant will have an appetite and talent for developing and nurturing relationships and being the go to for animated content. This role would suit a hungry agency account manager or someone with a background in sales within a production company.

You will seek out and develop business opportunities, providing first-level consultancy to prospective clients and building relationships with agencies and companies directly to ensure that our services are preferred and sought out. The successful candidate will have a proven record of building a solid client portfolio within an advertising agency production, account management, or business development environment. Listening and building rapport and credibility as a production partner are vital for this role.

The Role:

  • Help inform and develop the brand and sector sales plans and strategies for our target markets to meet assigned sales/business goals.
  • Generate own sales leads through various methods such as networking, personal prospecting and events (virtual and in person).
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to establish new, and grow key relationships to educate current and potential clients on products and services.
  • Prepare and present studio and creative proposals and quotations to prospects & clients.
  • Organise, track and maintain client account and contact information, as well as prospect updates in the CRM database.
  • Own and resolve general sales inquiries about leads, prospects and accounts.
  • You will be required to travel into London for face to face meetings.

You will be able to show:

  • Proven previous creative services sales and/or account management experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised within a dynamic environment as well as part of our larger team
  • A network of connections and contacts with agency networks and commissioners/producers
  • A thorough understanding of agency production processes and methodologies
  • Experience in planning and implementing account management strategies.
  • Strong prospecting skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly and professionally.

Location:  Onsite/Margate

Salary: £35,000, plus commission and bonus structure.
