London based, full time

Salary – £25K pa

We are BLINKINK. An award-winning animation studio with a commercial and cultural output across music, advertising, fashion and entertainment. We are world-class creators who craft unique, irreverent stories in fresh and innovative ways. Our work spans the full spectrum of animation (2D, CGI, stop-frame, mixed-media) as well as, live action and puppetry. Storytelling and exceptional craft are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for a New Business and Executive Assistant to work closely with the Head of the Development and Executive Producers to create new project opportunities, both domestically and abroad. You will become embedded in our culture and creative process, learn sales and marketing tools and help build our network of commissioners and clients.

Whether it’s finding new business opportunities; coordinating presentation screenings in top London agencies; assisting with content creation of the website and social media; diary and invoice management, you will support the team as we scale up.

It’s a dynamic, creative role that requires drive, initiative, excellent verbal & written communication skills, a curious mind and good chat. We want a self starter and a team player. First class organisational & time management skills, with a keen attention to detail is a must.

A passion for film, music, creativity, storytelling, design and the arts is key. Knowledge of animation craft is advantageous, though not required. That you will learn.

A bit more about the role.

Our studio is in Holloway, north London. This is a full time role with 20 holiday days a year. We’re currently doing a blend of 2 x wfh and 3 x in-the-studio days.

A bit more about BLINKINK.

We have a long history making music videos, short films, adverts, and TV for the last few years too. Our first series just launched on Netflix “Dead End: Paranormal Park” and our cult puppet horror comedy “Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared” is leaping from YouTube to Channel 4 this September. We made an episode of “Love, Death & Robots” and music videos for everyone from Dua Lipa to Iron Maiden.

Minimum 1 year experience in a similar business development role within Production, Animation, Post-Production, Agency, PR, Design, or similar.
