The primary purpose of this role is to drive business opportunities and manage its delivery in conjunction with the production team. This will typically involve ensuring projects are delivered to clients to the highest standards of quality, on time and in budget and winning pitches for new and existing clients.
Work with the production team to prepare estimates for proposals ensuring they are accurate and commercially viable.
Generate new business opportunities and develop existing clients.
Develop project plans and manage multiple projects and work streams ensuring key milestones are met, that any risks are mitigated and issues resolved effectively so as to minimise any impact on project delivery and budget or on the business.
Organise and deploy external resources including shoot crews, freelancers and other specialists as necessary to meet the requirements of designated projects in a way that maximises their productivity.
Create shoot schedules, PPM decks and other pre-production tasks, when necessary.
Manage and coordinate communication with internal stakeholders and the client throughout the delivery phase of all projects to ensure that they are fully briefed on progress and any issues are raised and escalated where necessary.
Produce project plans, status reports, project budget updates and any other documentation as required by the management team.
Maintain control of any changes in scope throughout the delivery of projects, ensure that these are agreed and any additional work required is charged to the client where appropriate.
Deliver all client projects to the highest standards of quality, on time and to budget.
Identify and capitalise on any opportunities to develop further business with existing clients.
Successful track record of delivering projects on time and to budget in a similar business.
Experience of using formal project management disciplines.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of film media, photography, animation, VFX, post-production etc.
Effective project administration and experience in preparing estimates, budgets and project scheduling.
Strong communication skills both verbal and in written.
Have worked effectively in a client facing role
