P&S Head of Music
The role is client facing, requiring direct liaising with clients, rights holders, producers, directors, creatives, school teachers and the mafia.
You will be leading and working together with the music team on all P&S music related projects.
We are involved with a really diverse range of jobs across a multitude of sectors and as such day to day tasks vary.
In a nutshell we will typically be working on:
– Bespoke composition briefs
– Music searches
– Talent curation
– Deal negotiation / procurement of music licences from rights holders / talent deals with managers and agents
– Managing the legal and business affairs execution of all deals with our in-house business affairs team
– Management of relationships with clients and suppliers across various sectors throughout business and culture including music, marketing, experimental and post production.
– Leading and managing the music teams systems and operations
– A&R
– Marketing (for P&S and music creative for clients)
P&S likes to work at the cutting edge of alternative music. We take pride in knowing how music is made, what it smells like, how it breathes and we respect its origins and history. The music team takes an extremely active role in P&S’s marketing.
The music team will always have an input into projects and the whole team is great at supporting our colleagues’ endeavours both in & outside of work.
As part of Wasserman Group and from 17 years in business we have a strong network throughout the world and there will be the need to travel and specifically network to build relationships with both clients and suppliers.
As a leadership role you will report to senior management and make your mark by inspiring the whole team and our clients through your connection to music and culture.
