Head of Marketing


LS Productions is a global production house founded by Marie Owen in 2006 and led by BAFTA-winning Executive Producer and Managing Director, Sarah Drummond.

We are creative collaborators and problem-solvers, whose production and location teams unlock the UK’s potential for photo and film projects from our studio base in Manchester, production hubs in Edinburgh and London and warm water location in Malta.

As Head of Marketing, PR & Communications you will lead the marketing team during the company’s next exciting growth phase. Working closely alongside the LS Senior Team (Business Development, Operations, Culture, Locations and Production) you’ll play a key role in building the LS brand in order to fulfil key company objectives for both LS Productions and our original content company LS Films.


  • Lead and manage the Marketing team, setting annual and quarterly targets.
  • Act as Brand Guardian, owning the execution of the brand and its identity, both internally and externally.
  • Plan the marketing, communications, social media and PR strategy to drive awareness of LS Productions and our service offering in key markets – nationally and internationally.
  • Develop highly targeted and personalised contact strategies for key customer groups.
  • Oversee all digital and social media content and artwork prior to sign off ensuring it is on message and on brand.

  • Champion best in class digital marketing practices, advise on and drive digital marketing initiatives to grow LS.
  • Lead on market research across key LS industry sectors – Film & TV; Advertising; Fashion; Music Videos and Sport.
  • Build industry networks nationally and internationally.
  • Manage the marketing budget.
  • Write and present quarterly Marketing Reports for Executive team.

  • Good understanding of Film & TV and/or Advertising and/or Music Videos and/or Fashion.
  • Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of CRM systems (Hubspot would be a plus).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • You will report to Karen Andre, Director of Sales and Marketing.


LS Productions operates a hybrid work model. You will work both remotely and a minimum of two days each week from the LS Productions offices in Edinburgh. You may be required to travel to key markets, to our other offices and to be on set where needed. Expenses will be provided for all travel.
