Finance Assistant

Creators Inc are looking for a new Finance Assistant to work across all company and production accounts.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, rapidly growing production company who work with some of the biggest directors in the advertising, film and television industries. The company is after a fun, organised and proactive individual, someone who is ready to embrace challenge and responsibility, and ultimately someone who can take ownership of the role and grow with the company.

Company responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of finance;
  • Reconciling company bank accounts and allocating company costs and revenues;
  • Processing and raising invoices, reviewing them and submitting payments for authorisation;
  • Processing internal expenses;
  • Tracking cashflows, payables and liabilities;
  • Managing existing relations with banks and other financial partners;
  • Monitoring and regularly reporting into CEO and COO the company’s financial position;
  • Feed into parent company’s finance team.

Productions responsibilities include:

  • Processing, tracking and raising invoices;
  • Processing staff and director expenses;
  • Ensuring that NI deductions are calculated correctly and then submitted for RTI on a weekly basis;
  • Maintaining and reconciling all job cash floats and withdrawing and banking cash floats;
  • Maintaining all credit cards and ensuring that supporting documentation is obtained;
  • Ensuring that all accountancy records are organised and maintained to a high standard.

Good knowledge of accounting software Xero and Excel is essential.

Production company and industry experience preferred.
