Executive Producer (Commercial, Branded and Music Video)

    Status: Permanent
    Hours: Full Time
    Location: Industry Workspace, 21 Whiston Road, London, E2 8EX
OVERVIEW:
    As the Executive Producer you will be responsible for heading up the Commercial, Branded and Music Video arm of the business. Overseeing the editorial, production and management of variety of output from creatively challenging content to logistical service jobs, working across a range of budgets.
    You will have extensive experience delivering creatively excellent content across branded, Digital, TVC’s and Music Videos and a proven track record delivering programmes on time, to budget and with high editorial value.
    Working closely with Director/Founder James Willis, you will be accountable for managing a growing department of producers and editors, as well as freelancers and crew.
    Having worked with well-known clients from pitch to delivery you will be known to a wide range of agency producers and brands. You will also know how to work with top-level talent and artists.
    This role would suit a driven, calm, confident and competent individual who sees the opportunity to be a significant part of growing business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver the best creative and editorial content possible
  • Ensure budgets hit gross margin targets and always have oversight of costs
  • Identify and recruit and retain the best new talent
  • Manage and nurture Bullion’s roster of Directors working with the Director/founder to ensure the right Directors are put forwards for the right jobs
  • Pitch, develop and write treatments and/or oversee and approve treatments for Bullions jobs
  • Manage the branded, commercial and music team
  • Maintain a positive relationship with clients at all times
  • Push pitches to be realistic in terms of output v. budget
  • Ensure key delivery milestones are met
  • Check PIBS/SOWs/client contracts are sound and workable
  • Ensure Bullion honours all contractual deliverables
  • Ensure regular updates go to Bullions Senior Management throughout a project, escalating issues in good time where necessary
  • Experience in both APA and branded content production
  • Excellent presentation and pitching skills
  • Ability to work under pressure calmly and effectively, and to tight deadlines
  • Current knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations, and associated procedures, including copyright, data protection, public liability, etc. and how to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the relevant health and safety legislation and procedures
OTHER:
  • To be an ambassador for the business at all times
  • Have a high level of written English
  • Strong competency level in keynote
  • A background in sports related branded content and advertsing is preferred but not essential
  • Be available to travel where necessary
  • To be available outside of office hours and during holidays should a production or meeting require
