An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented assistant/researcher to work solely for director Ujin Lin at his busy South-East London design studio.
Ujin Lin honed his skills as a director whilst he was the Creative Director of the Prada Account at DJA, working on every aspect from Advertising, Seasonal Films, Editorial and Stills, Fashion Shows and Packaging. His fashion clients include Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Dunhill, Zara and Phillip Lim to name but a few. Ujin made his break into advertising in 2015 working on the M&S account.
He continues to work with design and fashion clients, whilst also working on projects a diverse as an interactive video installation and a Bally exhibition for the opening of the David Chipperfield designed Bally Tokyo Flagship store alongside their creative director. This year Ujin has worked on projects for David Jones (Australia), Westfield (Star Wars promotion) and Longchamp Paris. He also regularly consults for the agency Wednesday, shooting fashion films for their many clients.
He is looking for an experienced and technically astute assistant and researcher to join his small team who should be comfortable taking direction, managing Ujin’s schedule and within time constraints. The ideal candidate will also have experience researching treatments with a keen interest in the worlds of fashion, film, music and photography. Ujin likes to edit jobs in-house when possible, time and commitments allowing, so the candidate must have a very good working knowledge of Final Cut and MPEG Streamclip. Ujin will also require support with his design presentations, for which he uses InDesign, Photoshop and Keynote.
