Director’s Assistant / Treatment Designer

We are looking for a Director’s Assistant / Treatment Designer to join our creative team. This role will work closely with our roster of directors and production teams across commercials, music videos and branded content.

The focus will be on helping create exceptional treatments as a key collaborator in the pitch process. Key elements to the role will include reading scripts and understanding a director’s approach to a brief, conducting image research, building individual libraries of visual references tailored to projects alongside maintaining an extensive overarching image vault, managing wiredrive and file servers, creating pitch layouts and generating social media assets, invitations and other visual content for the company.

They will also be responsible for coordinating holds and bookings for freelance treatment support and occasionally required to provide additional production support to the production team during busy periods.

The person we are looking for will have:

  • A love for film, art, fashion and photography (contemporary and historical) with the ability to find strong and appropriate visual references as needed;
  • An exceptional eye for detail and the ability to adapt to different visual styles;
  • An organised and efficient approach to their work, with the ability to respond quickly to deadlines;
  • A strong grasp of the written word;
  • An interest and knowledge of graphic design;
  • An eye for new and emerging design and layout technologies;
  • Proficiency in the use of Mac-based Adobe software – specifically InDesign, Photoshop
  • Experience with editing software such as Premiere Pro and Final Cut with the ability to cut mood films from visual research.
Based: Shoreditch
Salary: £28,000.00
