  • Ensure key delivery milestones throughout each job are met.

  • Maintaining long-established, trust-based existing client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, talent, and suppliers.
  • Assisting client creative teams with idea development, bringing idea references and talent suggestions to the table and navigating the practicalities/realities of creative scope vs budget.
  • Building your own production support team as and when the workload demands.
  • Nurturing that team to help build a best-in-class, client-first production ethos when working with HU.
  • Ensure budgets hit margin targets and always have oversight of costs – whether line produced by you or another producer you have selected to take on the project.
  • Responsible for overseeing that all outputs are delivered to the highest standards, on budget and on time.
  • Working with the Head of Growth to ensure anyone you bring in under your leadership is correctly on-boarded on how to follow HU protocols, including client engagement, file sharing, paperwork, payment terms, etc.
  • Work closely with our MD and Head of Growth to build HU’s reputation as a one-of-a-kind production solution for brands.
  • Being an ambassador for HU.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • An excellent understanding of the full production process from initial brief -> pre-production -> production -> post -> QC -> delivery.
  • Experience working within agencies and for brands directly.
  • Experience on set – comfortable managing directors and clients
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, to budget and with high creative and strategic value.
  • Process, legal, and regulatory understanding of the industry at large.
  • The ability to negotiate.
  • A proven ability to manage you and your junior teams’ tasks.
  • The ability to communicate professionally, confidently, and candidly with clients, HU team, crew, directors and suppliers.
  • Confidence in working closing with the client and striving for a mutual transparency in the relationship.
  • A diverse black book of trusted line producers/production managers and heads of dept that can be applied to the variety of projects we produce.
  • A desire to always be on the look-out for new and exciting talent across all the roles within production to add to that black book.
  • Shares our creative ambition and is motivated to build the business – not only maintaining but further proving our reputation of excellence within the direct-to-client space.
