CREATIVE ASSISTANT

Ground Work is looking for a smart, culturally tuned-in creative assistant to join our friendly Tottenham office.

Creativity, graphic design skills, film knowledge and an eye for strong imagery are all integral to this role. You will be responsible for designing decks, treatments and social content, working with our directors and across all departments. Basic editing or motion graphics skills are a plus. The ideal candidate will be bursting with ideas and have the desire to develop a career as a filmmaker.

Ground Work represents an exciting roster of directing talent and is the sister company to Crack Magazine, Europe’s leading music and youth culture magazine.

Job Role:

  • Image research

  • Social asset design, creation, posting

  • Keep website and social media profiles up to date

  • Assisting directors during production, including on shoots

  • Simple editing tasks

  • Archiving

  • Assistance with general office admin as needed

  • Treatment and deck design

Candidate will have:

  • 1+ years in a similar role

  • Outgoing personality and ability to connect with our Directors and wider team to understand their ideas and collaborate effectively.

  • Be a strong visual researcher and graphic designer.

  • Confident using software on Mac and Adobe Creative Suite (Keynote, Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, Google slides)

  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet deadlines as needed and be capable of juggling multiple tasks.

  • Excellent cultural knowledge and good eye for design.

  • Attention to detail

  • Be a proactive self-starter

London based, full-time position

Salary in line with London Living Wage.
