Bookings Co-ordinator and Office Assistant

Art Department represents members of the Art Department in Commercials, Film and TV. It has clients who span many roles in these sectors. The HODs form part of the Agency and the rest are part of the Diary Booking service.

The work will involve the day-today handling of enquiries, submissions and bookings of jobs for those on the roster. Managing incoming phone calls and emails, organising and filtering jobs and enquiries that come in and the management of databases.

The job is a great introduction to a very specialised and magical part of the film and TV industry. Although it is heavily administrative, no two days are ever the same, and you will be exposed to the inner workings of this wonderful department on a wide range of projects. There will also be opportunities to forge valuable relationships with a variety of very talented individuals.

A love of design and television and films is a must. Candidates must also be friendly, have a professional telephone manner, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be diligent and entrepreneurial. The nature of the job will demand a high level of organisation and require great attention to detail. The ability to prioritise, multi-task, and identify opportunities will also be a must.

This is a part-time (3 days a week) remote working role. Extra screen, software, laptop and phone headset can be provided. Office hours are 9.30am – 6pm with an hour between 1-2pm for lunch where the phones are switched off. It requires a disciplined self starter who will end up gaining an insightful overview of the whole industry and work as part of a friendly small team.
