Now in its fourth year, Ad Week Europe 2016 once again brought together a unique mix of industry people to consider and celebrate what’s going on in our creative communities. APA joined in by showcasing the newest innovations in VR, inviting The Mill, Framestore, Happy Finish, Unit 9, Nexus, MPC and Archer’s Mark to show guests what the future of storytelling looks like, with a mixture of terrifying, beautiful and stirring work.
Feedback from members who attended unanimously agreed that this year the event as a whole really came into its own and gained traction. Naturally, speakers like Martin Sorrell continue to be a huge draw, but it was the talks that were slightly more obscure and “stumbled across” that really impressed. The event was also lauded as a brilliant place to network, with a wider spectrum of people to meet than you may get at other industry events, allowing for new insights into where the industry is going and what key trends we can expect to see over the following year. All in all, a great success!
