FILMING COMMERCIALS WITH CHILDREN
Nov 04, 2011 - 12:57 PM
Attached is a new guide to filming commercials with children.
We have produced it because there were different guides available previously, which were either too detailed or wrong or both.
In particular, the new guide gives clear guidance on when you can film with children without a license:
A child may perform for up to 4 days in an period of 6 months without a license provided they are not paid and are not absent from school.
The guide also sets out the hours that children of different ages can work and other details.

Shots celebrates 10 years of the APA Show
Oct 12, 2011 - 12:38 PM
Following its premier in the APA Show, the APA Collection- our unique showcase of the best commercials from UK production, agencies, post, editing, music and sound companies- goes out around the world to promote the expertise of UK commercials production. Shots are a key part of that, distributing the DVD and credits from the APA Collection to their subscribers. So the APA Collection is seen by advertising agencies around the world, for which shots is the best way to keep informed about all the best new work.
This year, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the APA Show, Shots have produced a special feature on the top directors- those who have made the greatest impact in terms of appearances in the APA Collection. The feature is based around a series of photos of those directors, including Fredrik Bond, pictured right. To subscribe to Shots go to http://www.shots.net/subscribe
